Borrow from Omni Partner Libraries
Brock University students, staff, and faculty can now use Omni to request shared physical resources quickly and easily from across all 18 Omni partner institutions, a collection of nearly 23.5 million resources.
You can pick up and return your items at any partner school. Example: As a Brock user, you request a book from Carleton but instead of using the James A. Gibson Library as your pickup location, you can select Queen’s.
Use the Interlibrary Loan Service
RACER, the Library’s Interlibrary Loan system, is still available for requested physical resources not available at any of the 18 Omni partners, as well as all electronic resource requests.
Brock alumni are also eligible to borrow books through interlibrary loan on a cost recovery basis. Community borrowers are eligible for interlibrary loan privileges for a fee of $50 per year plus cost recovery. Please refer to Community Borrowing fees.
