Co-op Education

Our team is currently working remotely and has moved our services online. If you are a current student who requires an appointment, please visit careerzone.brocku.ca . For all other inquiries, please email co-op@brocku.ca

The path to a successful career starts in one of Canada’s most diverse co-op programs. Co-op at Brock gives you the opportunity to apply what you learn in the classroom to real-world situations. Our students test their skills daily, gaining experience and an edge in a global economy.

“全球电竞直播 continues to commit to ensuring students have the opportunity to engage with meaningful work experiences that are directly related to their degree programs by following public health guidelines and protocols. We encourage and appreciate the commitment from our co-op students and employers on their continued support of a full 12 to 16 weeks of co-op work term experience based on the national (CEWIL) accreditation requirements on co-operative education.

We also recognize how COVID-19 has impacted employer partners’ ability to hire across Canada. Due to the recent provincial-wide lockdown, flexibility around the length of work terms in the current climate is required to allow co-op students to still be able to attain a meaningful work experience. We are supporting employer partners in creating adjusted quality work term experiences for an upcoming co-op work term (i.e. May to August 2021). As such, 全球电竞直播 will support quality co-op work term experience up to a minimum of 280 hours (which is equivalent to an eight-week co-op work term with 35 working hours per week). Please note that this flexibility measure will be reviewed again in the future, with the current intention to return to a minimum 12-week experience for the Fall of 2021.”

RSS Co-op Education in The Brock News

  • Co-op students land jobs before Convocation
Though Truchi Patel and Monique Badiola were drawn to Brock for its high rate of graduate employment after Convocation, their experience in the University’s co-op program helped them to accomplish their goals before even crossing the stage.
  • Collaborative efforts highlighted in co-op, experiential learning awards
A group of Brock students who came together with the goal of creating equitable change in health care is among those being honoured by the University’s Co-op, Career and Experiential Education (CCEE) team.
  • Co-op programs receive national accreditation
Many of Brock’s co-op education programs have received an extra stamp of approval. Thanks to a comprehensive application and review process, 27 of Brock’s co-op programs are officially accredited by Co-operative Education and Work-Integrated Learning (CEWIL) Canada.
