early June If you have money in an RESP, make inquiries about how long it will take to get the money out. Some companies require quite a lot of notice of withdrawal. If you are planning on applying for OSAP we also recommend doing so now. Please note that the first installment of residence fees are now due on September 7, 2022. This is the first day of classes.
mid-late July Residence room assignments and waitlist information sent out to students who have applied to residence for Fall/Winter.
August 21, 2022 Residence close for Spring/Summer students
September 1, 2022 Brock Suites move-in begins.
September 3-5, 2022 Move in Day is September 3, 4 or 5. *Residence students will be assigned a specific move in time slot over the Labour Day weekend. Move in dates and times will be made available by mid-August so you have time to prepare.
September 6, 2022 Roll Call for any available beds for students on the waiting list
September 7, 2022 The deadline for the first payment is due on the September 7, the first day of classes. https://brocku.ca/residence/apply/residence-fees/payment-for-residence/
September 15, 2022 Deadline to opt-out of residence insurance.
October 10-14, 2022 Fall Reading Week (residences remain open)
November 30, 2022 Deadline to submit Winter Break Extended Stay Requests
December 22, 2022 Residences close for Winter Break. Students are required to vacate their room in residence by no later than 12 noon on the day following their last exam in December. Please see End of Term Notice and Winter Break web pages for details.
January 8, 2023 Residences re-open for Winter term
January 9, 2023 The deadline for the final payment for residence is due on January 9, this is the first day of the winter term.

March 31, 2023 Deadline to submit End of Term Extended Stay Requests
April 10-11, 2023 Easter Weekend (residences remain open)
April 26, 2023 Students are required to move out of residence by no later than 12 noon on the day following their last exam in April. The very last date/time that a student can move out of residence is April 27 at 12 noon. Please see the End of Term Notice for details.
