Our residences fall into one of four styles: traditional, semi-suite, townhouse and suite-style.
Traditional-style — DeCew
Basic housekeeping and cleaning services are provided by the University for common spaces (hallways, lounges and bathrooms). Students are responsible for cleaning their own bedrooms and may borrow a vacuum from the Service Desk. Students must provide their own bed linen (twin/single size), pillows, comforters and towels. Semi-Suite style — Vallee, Earp, Residence 8 and Lowenberger

Those in Vallee, Earp, Residence 8 and Lowenberger are responsible for cleaning their bathroom and must use their own cleaning supplies. Townhouse-style — Village
Housekeeping in Village Residence is the responsibility of the student. Each unit is provided with a central vacuum, central air and heating. Students must provide their own bed linen (twin/single size), pillows, comforters and towels. There is a communal kitchen with a stove and refrigerator in each unit. The kitchen also has a dining room table and chairs. Pots and pans, dishes and cutlery are not provided. Visit Dining Services for more information on the townhouse meal plan. Typically, units have a refrigerator, microwave and stove provided in kitchen areas.
The newly renovated units in Court 9 will be unique and feature a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator and microwave and boost a larger living/work space on the lower floor.

Townhouse-style — Quarry View
Housekeeping in Quarry View Residence is the responsibility of the student. Each block is provided with central air and heating. Vacuums are not provided and must be supplied by the student. Students must provide their own bed linen (twin/single size), pillows, comforters and towels. There is a communal kitchen with a stove and refrigerator in each unit. Suite-style — Gateway
This suite-style residence is geared toward upper year and graduate students. It offers either three or four single-bedroom units that share an open concept living and kitchen area with two full bathrooms. Each suite is equipped with its own washer/dryer and dishwasher. This facility is available year-round on a residence contract.
Additional information
Laundry rooms with Brock Card readers on washers and dryers are available in all of our residences. There are common spaces in residence allowing for casual student interaction and socializing. Captain John’s Lounge is located in DeCew but is available for all students to use, and is equipped with amenities such as a pool table, ping pong table, foosball, video gaming systems and televisions. The University provides basic housekeeping and cleaning services in public washrooms and common areas.
Each student living in residence (not including Gateway Suites Residence) is provided with:
