IDeA: Innovative designs for accessibility. 2020-2021 Competition

Do you have an innovative project idea to better universal design? Are you working towards developing a move inclusive Brock community? Submit it to IDeA to win one of three $5000 grants to bring your project to life!


The Innovative Designs for Accessibility (IDeA) student competition encourages all university students to develop creative, cost-effective, innovative, and practical solutions to accessibility barriers for people with disabilities. This competition is open to all Canadian undergraduate and graduate university students.

The deadline to enter is January 15th, 2021. Please submit your project using the entry form at the bottom of this page.

Brock Information Session

Join Brock HRE and the Anti-Ableism Mental Health Committee on  November 24th at 12pm for an information session about submitting your idea to the competition. Ask your questions to:

  • Monique Racine, Program officer, Partnerships and programs at Universities Canada.
